EmpowHERto is excited to announce the launching of three new programs this March. Each program is designed to prepare young womxn and girls for becoming leaders in their communities. The programs will be facilitated by EmpowHERto team members and will include subject matter experts in the areas of finance, Civic Engagement, and Health &Wellness— three of our program areas—and will be held on virtual platforms.
Here’s a sneak peek at the programs:
Finance Finesse (Financial Literacy): March 2, 2021
The financial literacy program takes on the issues we wish to solve through a holistic approach. Considering that many problems people are facing today have been accentuated and have become multidimensional, due to COVID-19. In this program, the girls will have the opportunity to learn and gain important money management skills to change negative financial habits and reach financial independence long term.
AmbiSHEous (Civic Engagement): March 8, 2021
Our program provides girls the knowledge and resources to become social change agents by connecting them with opportunities to actively participate and become more involved within their communities and ultimately contribute to social change.
DiscoverME (Health and Wellness): March 15-19, 2021
Our program supports self-identifying females in their journey to building their self-esteem and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to become proactive female leaders in their community.
Stay tuned on our social media channels @empowHERto for more on these as well as upcoming programs.
