Sugar-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

When it comes to cookies, chocolate chip reigns supreme. The crisp outer edges and the ooey-gooey chocolate chips make for a perfect grab-and-go snack while catching up with friends over Zoom or Facetime. They’re even great as a nighttime snack when you’re craving something sweet. But before you get your hand stuck in the cookie jar, here’s a version that’s both sweet and healthier.

Ingredients Required:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 water
  • 1/4 dry milk powder
  • 1/2 cup Splenda (or preferred sugar alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 ounces sugar-free milk chocolate bars

How to prepare:

First, grease a cookie sheet. Next, blend the first six ingredients on medium speed with a mixer for two minutes, then add flour and baking soda until well blended. Add in chocolate chips (or chunks if you prefer) and bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes until a light golden brown.
